Li Hui is a self taught photographer, based in Beijing, China. Hui focuses her work on intimate relationships and nature. Hui's photographs have a soft, quiet feeling to them, and play with natural, available light. The images are beautifully simple and teaches the viewer to see their everyday surroundings in a more creative, artistic way. Having no real meaning, one can enter the soft focus of her images and assume to be dreaming and oftentimes placing herself in front of the camera, creating an air of delicate feminism.
Hui has published two photographic books and is currently working on her third.
