Isabella Ståhl

Swedish photographer Isabella Ståhl creates a dreamy and mysterious quality to her photographs. Collectively, there is a beautiful pastel tone that seeps out in each image, with qualities of light and haze giving them a quiet, dream state look. Ståhl draws her inspiration from the wilderness and people who inhabit her life.

Ståhl studied photography at the Gotlands Folkhögskola in Sweden before coming to New York enrolling at the International Center of Photography. Ståhl's work has been seen in print form via publications across the United States, Canada, Australia, and the UK, as well as exhibitions in New York, London, and Sweden. Ståhl's most recent exhibition was held at Höstsalongen (Fall Saloon) in the Museum of Photography, Stockholm.
